My students often seek sensory input in order to stay on task during whole and small group lessons. I am requesting three Can Do Large Ball Chairs and 1 Can Do Small Ball Chair. The requested flexible seating options will help my students regulate their sensory needs while also staying in the designated learning area. My students are quick to learn new academic skills; however, their sensory needs impede their ability to sit in one area for an entire lesson. These chairs will allow my students to direct their energy and need for movement in a positive way. They will help them to focus on their work more completely and reach their full potential as learners.
