These materials will greatly fulfill the needs of my classroom by creating comfortable reading spaces, which give students a more of a desire to read because they feel like they have their own special spot! I have seen the benefits of flexible seating in other classrooms and the children absolutely love it and get excited for reading time! Also, these materials would provide much needed intervention centers. I would use these daily for my special needs & English as a second language student. They would also be utilized as daily centers for my other lower level students. The goal is to encourage my students to read more while utilizing their special reading chairs and to use the intervention materials like the Language & Math activities, to bring my struggling students up to grade level!
