This project will help us incorporate photojournalism within our classroom. The stories from people and places in our community are important to hear and see. Having our students profile some our community members will help a sometimes transient student population feel more connected here. These cameras and memory cards will help prepare them artistically by incorporating a basic knowledge of photography. The new equipment will also encourage a sense of pride and ownership in our little city. These middle school artists will be taking and editing photos and creating relationships with members of our community. Thank you for any help!

About my class
