The supplies for Glow Games, like black lights and glow paints, will help make learning come alive in new and magical ways! One of my goals every day is not just to get students to learn but to get them excited about learning. I want every student to wake up itching to come in the classroom to see what new things we will be doing that day! I am constantly coming up with new ways to present the material in new and magical ways to engage my middle school students. One creative element that I have loved using in my teaching is black lights. They present so many possibilities in the classroom. They are great to use with highlighters and chalk in my science classroom, in addition to adding color and visual excitement. In the past, I have used black lights for a RAVE-themed review lesson. I also plan on using them for a spy-themed lesson which we will incorporate in science labs. Glow Games will allow me to teach the state standards in an engaging and magical way. Students will remember unique science lessons because of high-interest and visually striking presentations and review games.
