So many important things happen on the class rug. Morning meeting. Reading, writing and math lessons. Kids sprawling out for independent reading time! I've chosen a large Lakeshore rug that is classroom safe, easy to clean and will last for years to come. This amazing group of kids needs a rug that they all fit on without sitting on top of each other. Last year, we were all smooshed onto a tiny, uncomfortable rug. It made meeting time and whole group lessons difficult. These students deserve the opportunity to focus on their learning, and an appropriately-sized, comfortable rug will really help.
