Many of our students are visual learners that greatly benefit from use of pictures and interactive modeling. With use of an iPad, we can quickly and efficiently create charts, pull up pictures and develop writing samples with our students that we will be able to display on the SmartBoard or use during small group instruction. The accessibility to technology and the ease and mobility of an iPad with a stylus will change the learning lives of our students. We will be able to easily supply the visual support students need during whole group and small group instruction. With use of technology, many students are more engaged as well. The use of the Apple pencil will allow students to directly write into the iPad where we can model writing processes quickly to keep engagement going.
