At Deerwood Elementary, we are implementing a leadership program to further the importance of leadership in all students. In this program, students will learn to become an engaged and effective leader by leading others. At Deerwood, we believe that there is a leader in every student. Although there is a leader in every student, some students need more encouragement than others to dig deep and find those qualities that make them a leader. This program will allow those students to shine who may not believe that they have the capability of being a leader. The badges will help give those students the feeling of leadership and responsibility while they are working with their "leadership buddy".

About my class
