This Chromebook will be the first of many to come. I hope to have a class set by the end of next year. The laptop will ensure that my students will be able to utilize computer programs more easily. Reflex and iReady Math are two of the many website resources that my students are missing out on by not having consistent computer accessibility in school and at home. With this first laptop, we will be on our way to having a technologically capable class. Many of my students cannot afford a school lunch, let alone a computer to help them continue schooling within their home so the Chromebook will be a welcome resource. The Chromebook will help my students achieve their goals this year, as well as meeting my own goal as an educator: to give each child one hour weekly of electronic exposure.
