The school year starts and a good portion of my class is diagnosed with some form of attention deficit or some other special need where alternative seating options or some form of focusing tool is needed to keep them engaged without being a distraction to the rest of the class. Having the option of wobble chairs or bouncy bands the active students will be able to discreetly fidget and move around without disrupting the class, this will keep the students physically engaged in turn helping them mentally focus. Wobble chairs are designed to support students with ADHD, because they provide a physical challenge and opportunity to release energy while simultaneously working. However, modifications such as these wobble chairs often benefit all learners, especially with a shared classroom space. Thank you for your consideration.
