My students and I have been blessed with an extra large classroom that includes a stage. The stage will be used as our classroom library that will include over 400 book choices for students. Often times my students are struggling readers or don't have any interest in picking up a book. I want our classroom library to be a sanctuary for my students, a place where they feel relaxed and can enjoy reading. In order to make the library more desirable to students I want to offer comfortable seating options like the large ottoman, inflated stability wobble cushions and floor cushions. Since my students are challenged to monitor their comprehension while reading, often times they are stopping to jot down connections, aha! moments, and questions, a small coffee table will be an excellent addition to the classroom library.
