I work at a title 1 school located on the edge of Waikiki. More than 50% of my students come from low-income families who can't afford to provide them with necessary supplies or experiences. My class contains 17 amazing and energetic group of learners! They love to collaborate as they work on creative, hands-on activities. Although the students comes from various backgrounds and struggles, they are always eager to learn. They are striving hard for their dreams! As we journey together through the 3rd grade, my hope is to develop learning experiences which inspire my students to deepen their love of learning, become complex thinkers, and one day be wonderful contributors in our community.
