This large rug will serve as a meeting spot each and every time they come to my room for all of the grades Pre-K through 5th Having the carpet will help the class to know exactly where their spot is all while helping them learn the music symbols as well as the symbols of the others around them. A large carpet for all students to fit on will serve as a space to explore instruments, engage in learning activities in a comfortable and safe way. Right now I have a small rug which doesn't fit all of the students, even in my smallest classes. The rest sit in chairs which are not the best learning environment for music class especially when 80% of the students are too small for the chairs making them dangerous as well as uncomfortable. Your generous donation will transform the learning space for my students while creating a foundation for recognizing staffs and musical symbols.
