Having our own water dispenser and cups in our classroom will allow students to stay hydrated without missing instructional time by going to the main office when they need a drink of water. If you're not hydrated, your body can't perform at its highest level. Our school building is old, and, therefore, the pipes are not safe to drink water from. We do not have air conditioning. Having a water dispenser in our classroom will help our students stay hydrated and allow them to stay on task. It would be so refreshing to have a cold drink of water after playing outside on the playground or after returning from gym class.
