Students will get the opportunity to learn Irish Dance from true Irish Dance professionals. Through the Segerstrom of the Arts' Arts Teach Program, Students will learn about the Irish culture and how dance integrates throughout. These dancers will get to hear traditional Irish music and learn Irish step dances. This experience will not only introduce a new dance style but will help build compassion, appreciation, and awareness of other cultures. Students will get to then reflect on what they have learned and incorporate it, creatively, into their own choreography/work. These visitors will truly impact these students' lives and give them an enriching experience!
