A crucial part of our day is learning through play. This project will help replace old and broken play kitchen furniture so my students have a safe area that they are excited about. This kitchen set will refresh a center, providing space for the students to play, while not taking up a lot of limited classroom space. A play kitchen is a great opportunity for my students to learn social and problem-solving skills through self-expression! It is a place in the classroom for them for form positive relationships with peers and teachers. They are able to talk about likes and dislikes of food, healthy choices, and practice mimicking observed behaviors in a safe setting.
