My students are at risk students who need foundational literacy skills to help them begin reading and writing. They require visual, auditory, tactile, and kinesthetic modes of instruction that will allow them to actively process and retain the skills learned. The materials I've requested will be used to provide an optimal learning experience for my students. My students will use the instructional materials to learn to read and write. The magnetic letters and boards will allow them to visually and kinesthetically build words. The laminating machine will allow me to laminate learning tools (i.e., alphabet chart, phoneme cards, picture cards) to aide my students in their learning. Lastly, there are many curriculum based resources on TPT that my students can benefit from to practice their early literacy and language development skills.
