My students are inquisitive and love learning new techniques when it comes to art. In our class we explore various ways to paint, create sculptures, and draw. They also learn how to create art with a number of mediums. Wacom tablets would be a great way to introduce students to yet another medium, through technology, on how to create a work of art while showcasing their own talent and creativity. As 21st century students, my "smartie artists" would love to find one more way to incorporate technology into our curriculum, while creating a work of art that they can be proud of. These tablets can also encourage students who aren't confident in their traditional drawing skills to try something different and possibly pique their interest in graphic design.
