The weight room (class) is a breeding ground for germs and bacteria. Students are exercising hard, leaving their sweat and perspiration all over the equipment. As they interact and share equipment, it's easy to pass germs and bacteria. It's also home to dirt and dust that gets blown in daily from our neighboring dirt track. Students don't have a locker room to shower and change clothes, they get dressed in the adjoining classroom while females go to a neighboring bathroom. They use fans to dry off their sweat before going to their next class period. Despite these setbacks student don't complain and continue to complete their in class weight lifting assignments. Electric sanitizer dispensers (batteries), spray bottles, disinfectant, and towels(ring & zip tie to hang) are looked at as luxury items. Its very difficult to implement hygiene lessons without the actual cleaning supplies(store in tote). Help me secure these products so I can implement hygiene lessons into my curriculum and help my students create a bacteria and germ free classroom. They deserve it!!!!
