Students need to sit comfortably within their own space and at an easy "reach across the table" length from their reading instructor during small group remediation. I need to see all of them basically in front of me while they practice reading to make sure they are not struggling, all while I am listening in to an individual student read to me at the same time! There's a lot that goes on at the same time during Leveled Literacy Intervention & the students & I need to be seated comfortably together. This table & chair seating will allow them to access me without drawing attention to their difficulty & it will allow me to access them more conveniently for instruction.
