For the 25th year, our 4th grade students will create an original opera! Over the course of 18 days, students create an original story, compose songs, choreograph movement, design sets, audition, rehearse and perform their own opera. This arts residency is an annual rite-of-passage for fourth graders at our school who collaborate with classroom teachers, art specialists, family volunteers and visual artist in residence. Through the intersection of music, theater, visual art and movement- fourth grade students tell an amazing and imaginative story.

About my class
