Each unit there are projects and activities that require materials to be printed in color so a color printer becomes an essential tool. As we study the salamanders in our home state of California, the maps showing rainfall patterns and Salamander distribution and the resource sheets showing the salamander's warning and camouflage coloring are only effective when printed in color. Then there are the many HHMI resources such as the Trophic Cascade and Rock Pocket Mouse Cards and other color cards that I've developed over the years that also must be printed in color to be effective. There are so many materials that we will be able to utilize when we can print in living color!
