This year has definitely shown us that technology in or outside the classroom is inevitable. My students will benefit from the laptop in that I will use it for everything! I'll use it for course planning, parent/student communication, maintaining a course website, creating and presenting content in the classroom, grading, and record-keeping, etc. This laptop will have a direct impact on my students' learning because I can now instruct and provide assignments through virtual learning platforms. Students will now be able to engage academically either inside or outside of the classroom. Having a computer in the classroom will allow my students to tackle harder mathematical problems and large sets of real data. My students will be able to manipulate and analyze data, hopefully, enhancing their learning process and making the concepts come alive through engagement. My students will have an in class computer available for use daily, thus eliminating the need of seeking an available computer. There's nothing more frustrating to a teacher than losing minutes of valuable instructional time due to the lack of proper technology or technical failures. Your considerations and donations will help save those minutes of loss instruction, allowing my students to receive the best learning experience possible.
