The launchers I am requesting will make our rockery project possible for a large group of fourth grade students. The project highly motivates students to use science, math, and engineering principles. The students will use design principles as they plan the construction of their own rockets. They will need to apply what they have learned about measurement to build their model rockets. They apply scientific principles throughout the launch process. During the rocket project students are constantly collaborating with their peers and learning about teamwork. These launchers will make this exciting learning opportunity possible for a large group of fourth grade students. This great hands-on project will provide deep learning of math, science, and engineering concepts for the children.
