Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their own learning and make choices that work best for them. During independent work times, students are given the opportunity to chose where they sit and work. Students are more engaged in their work and are able to stay on task for longer periods of time. The wobble stools, wobble discs, balance balls and bouncy bands will allow students to still sit but have some movement. These will be extremely beneficial for some students that just need to get the wiggles out. The comfy beanbag chairs will allow for students to curl up with a good book in our reading nook! All these items are lightweight, allowing students to move them about the classroom where works best for them and the clipboards can come with them to do their work on! By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention, focus and learning, you will help them feel comfortable and safe in our classroom community.
