With your help, students will be able to focus using the balance ball chair. In the beginning of the year, my students had 2 balance balls that a couple of students needed to help maintain focus. By month 3 of the school year, the two balance balls were no more. I would love to replace one with the balance chair for my students who truly need it in order to focus and pay attention. Many of the other items that have been requested are the basics needed to successfully run an 8th grade math class. Every single day I have students approach me that need something as simple as a pencil. Without hesitation I am sure that student gets a pencil so that they can have a successful start to the day. Throughout the school year, calculator screens are starting to crack or the numbers are very hard to see, so I would appreciate any new ones that can be donated. My 8th grade students would be very appreciative of any new supplies that we obtain.
