This year I decided to add Bucket Drumming to my list of "cool" things to do in Music Class. Many of my students won't go on to play in a band or sing in the choir, but I like to give them a well rounded "fun" experience while they are in my classroom. These drum sticks will allow ALL of my 5th and 6th graders an opportunity to play the bucket drums at their Spring Concert. For many of my students, this will be the last concert they will ever participate in. We had a nearby cooperation donate the buckets and just need the sticks to go with them! We will play along to popular music of today and put on a concert they are sure to remember fondly for years to come!
