My students would get so much out of having access to Kindle Fires. Kindle Fires would open the doors for so many STEAM activities such as basic coding, art, and physics apps. The camera on the Kindle Fire would enable kids to share their work immediately with their parents on ClassDojo. I really like the content control features that come with the Kindle Fire. I won't have to worry about my students being off task or accessing inappropriate material. Access to Kindle Fires would have the greatest benefit for my struggling learners. They will give my struggling readers opportunities to explore books they wouldn't otherwise have access to through apps such as Epic! Students struggling in math could practice fluency and problem solving with math games. Struggling writers could use speech-to-text features.
