Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. My students will be able to choose the seat that they would like to sit on during our literacy intervention. Currently my students have the choice of sitting on a regular chair or crate. Having a choice gives them more responsibility for their learning. By adding wobble chairs, wobble seats and flex balls, they will be able to choose what is most comfortable and what works best for them on that particular day. Having choices is an essential component in motivating my students! The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options to make more effective learning choices. The wobble stools will allow my students to have enough movement to help them get the wiggles out yet give them a stable seat to sit on. The flex balls allow students to focus better because they are holding their body in a way to keep the ball stable. The comfy floor seats will allow for my kindergarteners to have a choice when we are working on the rug. I have seen how choice can positively affect my students work ethic and demeanor. Having these choices will help my students succeed!
