These math manipulatives, including magnetic ten frames, rekenreks and a math up games will allow my students to gain hands-on practice with place value, addition and subtraction, all are a part of our state standards. These materials will add fun and excitement to their learning. I will use the magnetic ten-frames during whole group math time and during small group instruction to differentiate instruction for all ability levels. The students rekenreks will also be used during whole group math time and in centers. These materials will help my students be prepared for 2nd grade, giving them a solid mathematical foundation. Having these materials will help to ensure my students are prepared for their life-long academic path. Your donation to my project will ensure the my students have numerous daily hands-on experiences with numbers, place value, addition and subtraction.
