Remote learning in Boston has resulted in our 8th grade students staring at screens for hours on end. With no access to a digital format of our class novels, we have resorted to having students view PDFs/pictures taken of each page. Our students deserve a copy of each class novel to hold in their hands and cherish. Please help our students by providing each with a hard copy of these books so we can engage together and fall in love with reading as it was intended. With these books, our students will see two women of color, one fictional and one heroic and historic face and overcome the challenges of political turmoil and grave injustice. Help our students fall in love with reading. Thank you!
