This year I have a larger ESOL (English Speakers of Other Languages) student population in my classroom. Some students speak little to no English at home and I want to help them be successful in the classroom. I would love to provide my students with materials that will make them comfortable and give them tools to become fluent bilingual readers. I found a variety of bilingual materials that would enhance learning in my room. I included bilingual classroom labels, bilingual workbooks on multiple grade levels to cater to student ability levels, and some chapter books that we read during the year in Spanish that they could refer to and read. This project would provide my students and I with much needed bilingual materials that would be very beneficial to my students and their learning success!
