Students need to be actively engaged to learn. In this age of technology, there are many educational programs accessible to students to help improve their academic learning. Please help us get 5 fire tablets to use during centers and small group activities. The more access my students have to technology and learning in fun ways the more they can improve academically. However, not all households have access to technology. These apps and games make it fun for students where they don't even realize they are learning! With this technology, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books and read independently at their levels. Being able to use the tablets would help keep my mini-lessons more engaging.
