With COVID limiting our ability to sing this year, instruments are a must have! These handbells, mallets, and Boomwhackers will help greatly expand the repertoire of my students. We can explore the music of many more cultures and genres. These instruments will be a great tool for many years to come. In the words of Carl Orff, "Tell me, I forget; Show me, I remember; Involve me, I understand." I am a firm believer in learning by doing. Getting students instruments in their hand will not only teach them about music, but also culture, history, mathematics, science, and social skills. This experience is truly invaluable.
