I am requesting a speaker system for our new gym. We use music daily in my classroom, especially during our calisthenics where students are motivated to move with the uptempo music. Currently, there is only one small classroom speaker which makes it difficult for the students to hear and embrace the music as they move. Our students will truly benefit immensely with the installation of a speaker system better suited for our amazing space. As an Arts Integration school, a speaker system will enhance my P.E. curriculum, further engaging and physically activating my students. Our entire school gains the enhanced listening experience for school-wide events and music programs. A speaker system is highly recommended by fellow P.E./ Music teachers, stating that "these speakers could easily fill a gymnasium without any distortions of sound."
