The items I am asking for in my project are vital to student success. All students deserve pencils, notebooks and other basic classroom supplies that will support them throughout their year in 5th grade. These items will be used by students on a daily basis in my classroom. By providing these essentials for my 5th graders, it relieves the stress on students and families to supply these materials at the beginning of the school year. Students should be focused on being happy, healthy and academically successful when entering a new school year, rather than on the economic pressure on their families. Through this project, I hope to fully support students and their families from the moment they walk into my classroom in September!

About my class
