Often by grades 3 or 4 you begin to hear students describe themselves as readers or non readers. I believe that the ability to enjoy a good story does not have to depend on a student's reading skills. A classroom set of Charlotte's Web will allow my students to follow along in the book as they listen to the story being read to them via audio book. This way students who are not able to read the book on their own can still join in the story and participate with the class. Students will learn that they can enjoy a book, but also use technology to access literature too.
