My journalism class puts a lot of effort into creating our morning announcements for the entire school, but the biggest complaint we get is that we are not loud enough. We have tried a speaker system connected to the computer, but that does not work. We need a portable microphone with speaker system to make our voices heard for the announcements each morning. The entire school looks forward to the morning announcements and my students work hard to make a good production. Students who enter into the Journalism class will use interviewing , reporting, and recording skills as they enter into the work force. Having the appropriate tools necessary will assist them in this modern world of technology.
