Many of my students do not have access to technology at home (other than parent smartphones). We get to use the laptop cart one morning per week and this is the only time they have to work on projects, type stories etc. As the laptops are shared, my students cannot save their hard work from 1 week to the next. Only about 5 of my kids were able to get their own flash drives. Having a set of flash drives for my class would make a huge difference! I can also print projects for them if they are saved on a flash drive.
