Our classroom is in need of Kids Edition Kindles to give access to books and web-based learning throughout the day. While we do have 4 student computers, these are primarily used for students to complete an educational program required by the district. In this day and age, there is no limit to what the students can do with portable learning devices. I plan on using the Kindles during the reading block to tailor books to students' individual reading levels. They can be used for research during the writing,science, and social studies lessons. I would like students to use the devices during math time to practice skills on educational apps. In addition, I will use the Kindles to give students practice in Coding. I know that these tablets will open up a world of learning in our classroom!
