The bookshelf that I am requesting will offer my students easier access to books, information, ideas, and entertainment that will support a variety of learning domains. Many of the books that I have chosen are directly related to our Kindergarten curriculum. The comfy seats will provide and inviting environment to foster learning. The CD player and sing-along CDs will allow learning through music. Reading to children is very important! Many of my students have had little or no exposure to books. By providing enough books, along with a variety of genres, we will ensure that these children learn how to care for and love books. Providing a comfy, inviting, educational classroom library will get the children excited about reading!
