My students are very hardworking but often times, sitting down in a regular chair for hours at a time can be hard. Many of my students are wiggling around and struggle to stay seated. My goal is to turn our classroom into a place where all my students can be successful. We had a class discussion, and I asked the students "What can I do to make our classroom a better and great place for you to learn?" Many of them simply responded that they would like different options on where to sit besides their desks. Having very limited resources, it is difficult to provide different seating options for my students. With the help from DonorsChoose, I would like to provide them with different seating options such as different stools, yoga balls/cushions, futons, butterfly chairs, and other seating options that will allow my students to focus and be more comfortable, to boost their learning.
