This listening center will help support my students in a large group classroom to be able to hear the story in a small group with headphones. They will also be able to follow along in a book and listen to reading to support them in learning the basic skills needed for reading. I also think that it will benefit the classroom as the students in the small group will be the only ones hearing the story as it will not distract the others within the room completing their center work. ELLs hearing English reading on CD is so great for their learning English.
