Coding is so much more than making a game! Coding is everywhere in real life; cars, vacuum cleaners, home alarm systems, timers for lights to turn on and off and so much more. Introducing students to physical computing with the Mico:bit will help them see their code in a very tangible way. It lets students see that coding can be useful and is much more than a game. Physical computing is an excellent way to engage young women, who are not gamers, with coding. Computer Science is about making and helping people.
