I teach at an elementary school in Las Vegas, Nevada. My students come from a variety of diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. More than half of my class are English language learners. They are a group of 21 bright and enthusiastic kindergarteners. For most of them this is their first time in school and because of this they are all so eager to learn. I strive to make their first year their best year. I want to ensure they have a positive attitude about school at an early age!
