I teach second grade for an inner city public school. Our school has a high poverty rate and all of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. Their needs are many, and resources for "extras" are few and far between. Often, we don't even have enough text books for all the students. To ensure that I meet the needs of all my students, I rely on generous donors - like you! There is nothing better than helping a child learn. To see a new concept click with a student and that light bulb finally pop on, is one of the most unique and rewarding feelings imaginable. My students deserve every opportunity available and I believe it is part of my job to make sure that happens. Using Donors Choose is one way I can help my students.
