My students come to school from different areas and backgrounds, but all deserve a comfortable classroom environment. I want to empower my students to understand that, just like superheroes, they can be and do whatever they want to. I encourage them to think about their futures outside of the next few days or the next month. I want my students to be all they can be, but they cannot do it without a safe and comfortable classroom environment. The alternative seating I am seeking will allow students to choose whether to sit in a chair, on the carpet or in a bean bag chair while learning. When students are comfortable, they learn best.
