Our students work hard all year - actually throughout high school - and are ranked as one of the top public schools in the state and the nation. As a final celebration of their accomplishments, we would like to host a safe, chaperoned, alcohol-free after-prom party - called PromFest 2018 - at the school! Our dream is for PromFest 2018 to include a gaming room, carnival games, obstacle courses, and unusual activities - like Sumo Wrestling! This is the first year that we are attempting to host this event, and we need to get some activities that will attract the students - to make this the party that they want to attend. We have a committee of parents and teachers working to get prizes donated for the event - and are working on sponsorships and fund-raising. The items that we are requesting, will help us get closer to our goal of providing fun activities. The two Sumo costumes will obviously be used for post-prom Sumo Wrestling. The TVs and XBox will be used to set up a gaming area, and a movie watching area. The printers will allow us to print color invitations and the kids can also print pictures from their phones that night. FInally, the candy will be used as prizes! Together, we can make this a night the kids will never forget - and a night that they deserve!
