I teach visual art to four 8th grade ICT classes and one 6th grade Special Education class. The ICT 8th grade classes are composed of Special Education and General Education students who chose to participate in the Creative Design Academy of the school. In each grade students are taught a different art skill. In 6th grade students are enrolled in Textile and Surface Design, in 7th grade Graphic Design, and Mixed Media Art in 8th grade in order to help them prepare for the future as creative thinkers.
