Filling a kindergarden classroom with fun and useful activities will invite them to set highter goals throughout the school year while covering the academic standards. Reading and communication skills are presented in different ways, sizes, shapes, and colors. Students enjoy big letters, small letters, bold letters, colored letters, and so much more! White boards will give our students the opportinity to practice their letters, words, and sentences in different ways. Other than letters they can practice their math, pictures, graphs and more. During our reading/ writing block we use sentence strips and easel pads to help students work on shared reading and shared writing skills, present vocabulary, and work with writing. We are also able to use the white boards and sentence strips to work on Writers Workshop activities, which is essential in Kindergarten. This is a great way to also create charts, graphs, writing webs, and to help us connect to our Common Core Alligned Curriculum. We will be using the thermal laminating sheets and the tape to preserve and hang up the students work. This will encourage students to try their best on each assignment so that it can be shown to family and friends. We want to encourgae them to always do their best and this will do just that. These materials will be shared by THREE excited kindergarten classrooms. Our classes will trully enjoy useful learning materials to be able to develope their learning skills.
