These materials such as brushes, wire, and dough are going to allow for my students to work and explore various materials and express themselves in various ways. They will be creating Wire Trees, Wayne Thiebaud paintings, ceramics projects, Zentangles, mandalas and shadow puppet plays that they will get to perform for their school. A child may gravitate towards ceramics as opposed to drawing and I want to allow opportunities for students to find the mediums that they enjoy. I believe art is therapeutic and brings happiness, joy and critical thinking skills to children of all ages and learning styles. Allowing for these different mediums will help them grow in various ways.
